Vor einigen Minuten wurde Prepar3D v3.4 veröffentlicht, drei Monate nach Release der Version 3.3 (Wir berichteten). Die neue Version des Simulators steht für alle Besitzer der v3 im Kundenkonto zum Download bereit, die Liste mit den Neuerungen kann hier oder im vollen Artikel eingesehen werden. Als bahnbrechenste Verbesserung dürfte wohl die Unterstützung von Oculus Rift und HTC Vive einzustufen sein – die beiden Virtual-Reality-Geräte wurden nahtlos in Prepar3D integriert und können somit ohne zusätzliche Konfiguration direkt genutzt werden. Eine weitere Neuerung ist der Kontrollmodus für virtuelle Kameramänner, dieser erlaubt die unbegrenzte und präzise Kontrolle der Kamera, um zu jeder Zeit und in jeder Position das perfekte Bild einzufangen – das dürfte besonders für Flugsimulator-Filmer, die gerne Videos auf Youtube und Konsorten hochladen, interessant sein.

Habt ihr schon probiert, die install_client.msi zu installieren? Bei mir passiert da gar nix. Schon 3x neu runtergeladen.
Mal schauen, ob mir meine PMDG 737 und 777 nicht mehr nach 4,5 h abstürzt mit CTD.
